Plot : Matt Scudder is really a former cop now a personal eye. He‘s asked using a drug dealer to discover the men who kidnapped his wife. It seems like they killed her even after he paid them. Scudder refuses. However the man later goes to discover him and tells him how his wife was killed. Scudder takes the work. He does some research and thinks the men He‘s attempting to find have carried this out greater than once. And that everybody they grabbed is connected to some drug dealer.
